Browse Registered Characters
Find characters registered in the Character Simulator by name and view them in 3D. Their equipment and colors are shown too.
Basic use
- Enter a name in the Character Name box and press Enter.
- The 3D view shows the look the character had when registered, and its equipment and colors appear on the left.
- To edit it yourself, press Edit. It is added to the end of the Character Simulator's character list.
Good to know
- Names are found regardless of region. If the character was registered in another region, that region is shown, and pressing Switch to ○ shows it exactly as registered.
- After you find a character, press Copy link to copy a link that opens that character. Anyone who receives the link also opens it in the region where the character was registered. You don't need to sign in to look up characters.
- The Effects and motion sequence from registration are shown too. If a map, sky, position, and camera were registered, the character is shown in that scene.
- For characters registered with a map, position, and camera, pressing Edit asks whether to take Look only or With scene. With scene changes the Character Simulator's map and sky.
- Editing a character you took doesn't change the registered one. To overwrite a character you registered, use the Register Character window in the Character Simulator.
- Hover over a color swatch to see the color value. Click an item image to open the item menu.
- In the 3D view, drag with the left mouse button to rotate, drag up and down with the right mouse button to change the viewing height, and use the wheel to zoom. Use the buttons at the top to take a Photo, save a GIF, and open the Hierarchy, Color Modify, and Render Settings panels, and use Reset view to fit the view to the full body. Render Settings changed here are not saved.
- On narrow screens, the left panel closes once the character appears. Open it again with the magnifier button at the top left of the 3D view.
